Admission Process

CENTRALIZED ADMISSION PROCESS

1. Centralized Admission Process (CAP)


2. Online Application Form Submission

Start the admission process by filling and submitting the Online Application Form through a computer connected to the internet.


3. Document Verification and Confirmation

Document verification and in-person confirmation of application form is done at MCA-CET center for both sponsored and non-sponsored category candidates.


4. Provisional Merit Lists

Declaration of Provisional merit lists for all MCA-CET candidates (Sponsored and Non-sponsored).


5. Final Merit Lists

Final Merit Lists will be available on the official website (tentatively).


6. Institute-wise Seat Distribution for Round I

Display of Institute-wise Seat Distribution for Round I (Sponsored/Non-sponsored & NRI).


7. Online Submission and Confirmation of Option form for CAP Round I

Online Submission and Confirmation of Option form for CAP Round I by all MCA-CET (Sponsored and Non-sponsored) candidates themselves.


8. Allotment of Sponsored/Non Sponsored Seats (Round 1)

Allotment of Sponsored/Non Sponsored category seats to candidates in Round 1.


9. Reporting and Securing Admission (Round 1)

Reporting and securing admission by the Sponsored/Non-Sponsored candidates at the allotted institutes.


10. Institute-wise Vacant Seats for CAP Round II

Display of Institute-wise vacant seats for CAP Round II due to non-reporting/non-allotment in Round I.


11. Online Submission and Confirmation of Option form for CAP Round II

Online Submission and Confirmation of Option form for CAP Round II by all MCA-CET (Sponsored and Non-sponsored) candidates themselves.


12. Allotment of Sponsored/Non-Sponsored Seats (Round II)

Allotment of Sponsored/Non-Sponsored category seats to candidates in Round II.


13. Reporting and Securing Admission (Round II)

Reporting and securing admission by the Sponsored/Non-Sponsored candidates at the allotted institutes.


14. Institute-wise Vacant Seats for CAP Round III

Display of Institute-wise vacant seats for CAP Round III due to non-reporting/non-allotment in Round II.


15. Reporting to the Institute (CAP Round II)

Reporting to the institute as per allotment in counseling round (CAP Round II).


16. Admissions and Commencement of New Academic Year

Admissions by paying fees and commencement of the new academic year.


Institute level Admissions

20% of the total seats are assigned to the college management for admissions. Please contact the admission cell incharge in the college premises for more details.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission Through Cap

1. Candidate should be an Indian National

Candidate should have passed/appeared Bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Mathematics Subject from State Governments/MHRD approved institutions, with at least 50 % Aggregate marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).

2. Having Positive and valid MCA-CET Score.

Please Note that if you have appeared in MCA-CET Examination and have marks below qualifying marks, you can still apply on the basis of Marks obtained out of 100. [Candidates appeared earlier on MCA-CET exams and have marks above qualifying marks are only eligible for admission through CAP


filling and Submission of Online Application From

The procedure for filling and submission of online application form is specified on Online Application Form Please refer the same here for your convenience:

    1.Online Application Form will be available at the website mcacet2024.mahacet.org. You will need to make an e-payment for the application processing fees through net banking available on the web portal.

    2.The application form processing fees will vary depending on your category (General, NRI, OMS, reserved categories, and Persons with Disability candidates from Maharashtra State).

    3.This fee must be paid through net banking by Internet Payment, Credit Card, or Debit Card payment gateway, and service charges will apply as per the rules, in addition to the application form processing fees.

    4.After filling the form online, sign on the printout of the application and attach the required attested copies of documents.

    5.Report in person to the Authorized Reporting Center (ARC) for the confirmation of the Application form along with attested true copies and original documents for verification, following the schedule provided. Only applications submitted online and subsequently confirmed at ARCs are considered valid for further processing.

    6.Note that applications sent by Post/Courier to ARCs or the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) office will be rejected by DTE. You can find the list of ARCs, Information Brochure with rules and regulations, details about CAP Rounds, and reporting on the DTE website for downloading and printing.
